The Weather Outside is Frightful

but the knitting inside is delightful!  Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

Actually, I would be very happy if it stopped snowing, and, more importantly, if it stopped blowing the snow into drifts outisde my front door!  We have had winter with a vengeance the past two weeks, after a delightful October.  The only good thing is that horrible weather outside means more productivity inside!  I have spent the last couple of weeks doing finishing work, re-arranging my work area, and working on some of my own projects.

I am delighted to be able to say that I have finished my Morrigan – a cable wrap that I knit as part of a KAL – or Knit Along – on Ravelry.  This design is by Dorota Maria Kowalczyk – a cable genius!  Here is the link to her store on Ravelry :

Without further ado, here is the Morrigan cable wrap:

and here is a closeup of the knitted embellishments that are sewn on each corner.

And if you are into the details, here you are:

The yarn :  Jaeger Luxury Shetland DK with alpaca

Weight?  DK / 8 ply (11 wpi)

15 skeins = 2040 yards
:  506 Heather
