The Joy of Socks – and another knitting finish

It is snowing again today – just enough to make wearing a jacket and gloves a necessity.  Dreary, cold, unpleasant.  Enough to make one think of staying snug and warm, and wearing good handknit socks.  Just like these:

I finished these up last night and had DD take pics for me this morning – and yes, I did put my pants on after the pics   These are Ann Budd’s Ambrosia Socks – a free pattern available at http://www.interweaveknits.com/freepatterns/
Knit with Brown Sheep Wildfoote yarn in Ragtime – I love how autumny this wool is!  The darker pic is closer to the actual color.  They were knit toe up with a butterly rib pattern.
